Our Story
Two decades of telling stories that matter
Founded around 2004 in Nairobi, Theatrix Arts Ensemble grew out of a simple conviction: that theatre is one of the most direct ways to teach, to question and to move people.
The ensemble works at the meeting point of performing arts and education — staging adaptations of secondary school literature and Kiswahili set books, and creating original edutainment work for schools, organisations and general audiences.
Every production is approached the same way: rigorous rehearsal, honest performance, and a story worth an audience's attention.
